Pharmacy Technician – Call Center Style Pharmacy | North Chicago, IL

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with pharmacy practice in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as HIPAA guidelines and corporate policies.
• Accurately interpret healthcare provider’s prescription orders and enter them into the core pharmacy system.
• Notify physicians of incomplete or incorrect prescription information and perform physician outreach when necessary.

Required Skills

• Pharmacy Technician certification and license.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and professionalism.
• Experience in a high-volume, call-center-style environment.
• Minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Retail/Mail Order Pharmacy, PBM, or healthcare provider setting.

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
