Quotations & Technical Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Quotations & Technical Support Specialist to support our sales, engineering, and customer service teams. This role blends pricing, quotation development, and hands-on technical support, serving as a key point of contact for distributors, customers, and internal stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and collaboration in a fast-paced technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Quotation and Pricing Management
Develop, manage, and maintain customer quotations and pricing structures.
Collaborate with distributors, OEMs, and end users to structure competitive pricing.
Implement and manage price increases aligned with company strategy.
Support project negotiations in partnership with Regional Sales Managers.
Balance margin optimization with corporate sales objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers, representatives, and OEM partners.
Support regional target accounts and key customers through strategic pricing and quotation support.
Technical Support
Develop a strong understanding of all products, including manufacturing processes, applications, and troubleshooting.
Serve as the first point of contact for technical inquiries from the field.
Configure part numbers based on customer application requirements.
Provide technical guidance beyond installation guides and nameplate information.
Assist technicians with electrical schematics and wiring configurations.
Troubleshoot field issues such as voltage mismatches, wiring concerns, or performance issues.
Support Customer Service with FPRs, RMAs, and CAR documentation.
Customer Service and Sales Collaboration
Prepare complete order packets for custom products and project-based orders.
Support and train Customer Service teams on catalog products, custom solutions, and interpreting specifications.
Act as a liaison between customers, Customer Service, Engineering, and Sales teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Collaborate with sales leadership to execute strategies that maximize margins and bookings.
Marketing and Product Support
Partner with Marketing to establish market pricing and support price increase initiatives.
Provide market feedback on competitors, pricing, lead times, and product offerings.
Support customer training initiatives and new product launches.
Provide feedback and support on system upgrades and process improvements.
Assist with communication related to PODs and CODs.
National Sales Support
Assist with the development, implementation, and support of national sales plans.
Identify and escalate customer activities or trends that may impact overall sales objectives.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Electrical, Technical, or a related field required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
