CNC Machine Shop Supervisor
We are seeking a First Shift Production Supervisor to oversee machining operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading production teams to ensure safe, efficient operations while meeting quality and delivery expectations. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to support overall production goals and maintain workflow across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure completion of daily production schedules within assigned areas
Provide leadership, guidance, and training to team members on proper procedures and best practices
Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety standards and protocols
Assign tasks and encourage team input to improve efficiency, productivity, and workflow
Collaborate with team leads and engineering to address production needs and resolve issues
Identify and troubleshoot basic manufacturing challenges related to materials or equipment
Utilize ERP systems and visual production tools to manage workflow and track progress
Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided)
Perform additional duties as required to support operations
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Hands-on experience with CNC machining, including multi-axis lathes and mills required
3–5 years of supervisory experience in a machining or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including quality, efficiency, and safety standards
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP or similar business systems
Effective communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and following all workplace safety guidelines
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
