Reporting to the Project Manager (Custodial), Supervisor, or the Crew Leader (depending on the site), the Janitor is responsible for developing work skills and performing work at the assigned site(s).

Position Summary:

We are looking for Full -Time Janitor for the evening shift, at Scoot Air Force Base Mascoutah IL to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our facility in a clean and orderly condition.

• Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour
• Shift: Part - Time
• Days -Monday - Friday - 12:00 pm - 8:00pm
• Location: Mascoutah Illinois

Typical Job Duties:

• Responsible for janitorial duties at Scott Air Force Base.
• Cleans, sanitizes, sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, restocks, and empties trash.. Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and stairs.
• restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel areas.
• Expected to safely operate equipment
• Contributes to teamwork by training and helping co-workers
• Continually performs duties with a special focus on safety, quality and customer service.
• Empty trash and various recyclable cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Clean windowsills and windows. Obtain tools necessary for the job to be completed.
• Clean break rooms and other areas that are applicable to the contract

Physical Requirements :

• lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
• pushing and pulling up to 30 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Be 18 years or older
• Pass criminal background checks and various state/federal registry checks.

• Pushing and pulling up to 45 lbs.
