Real Estate Associate (Chicago)
A leading national law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 4–6 years of experience to join its commercial real estate practice in Chicago.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions
- Conducting due diligence and reviewing title and survey materials
- Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, leases, and loan documents
- Supporting financing and development matters
- Working closely with senior attorneys and clients on a variety of real estate matters
- Staying current on relevant laws, regulations, and market trends
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of commercial real estate experience at a law firm
- Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and due diligence
- Familiarity with leasing, financing, and development work preferred
- Experience with AI or legal technology tools is a plus
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Admission to the Illinois Bar required
