On behalf of our partner network, we're recruiting a PMO Manager in Chicago.

PMO Manager - Chicago

Salary range: $110,000 - $135,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you'll be responsible for:

As PMO Manager, you'll be the person who makes sure the company's biggest projects actually get done. You will:

• Set up the playbooks, templates, and processes that keep projects running smoothly
• Track what's happening across all major projects and flag problems
• Run weekly project reviews with leadership and tell them what's actually going on (the good and the bad)
• Decide which projects get priority and which ones need to wait when resources are tight
• Coach project managers and team leads on how to run better projects
• Build dashboards that show executives real progress, not just pretty slides
• Step in to unblock stuck projects and get teams moving again
• Fix broken processes when you see the same issues happening over and over
  
  

You'll be a strong match if you have:

• Previous experience in consulting (MBB, Big 4, or boutique firms)
• 3-5+ years of experience in project/programme management or PMO leadership roles
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives
• Strong expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all organizational levels
