Position Overview

This position is part of a team of continuous improvement minded individuals that is responsible for process and continuous improvement projects with cross-functional teams. The Finance Transformation team supports teams across our corporate functions such as Customer Service, Transportation, Human Resources, and Accounts Payable/Receivable.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Process improvement project cycle involving process mapping, assessment, analysis, solution development, and implementation.

• Process analytics in USG’s process mining tool, Celonis.

• Dashboarding and driving data backed improvement.

• Analysis of industry trends and evaluation of emerging digital capabilities and their usefulness for USG.

• Participate in discrete process improvement initiatives for the Company that requires a digital or data-driven solution. Develop and improve tools for the team to apply to process improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

EDUCATION

· Completion of at least two years of undergraduate course work in Information Systems, Computer Science, or another business/analytical focus.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Understanding of databases and proficient SQL skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

· Team player and motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on a new challenge.

• Ability to quickly understand and decompose technical concepts.
  

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
