Engineering Associate (Junior)

Altimeter Associates is seeking a talented Airfield Engineering Associate to join our team in Chicago, IL. You'll work collaboratively with experienced engineers to design essential infrastructure for airports across the United States.
Responsibilities:
Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed plans for runways, taxiways, aprons, and other airfield components.
Conduct geometric design and pavement analysis.
Design stormwater and utility infrastructure.
Coordinate with airports, airlines, the FAA, and construction management teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Completion of the Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineering Internship (EI) exam is preferred or must be completed within six months of hire.
