Business Development Representative (Building Materials / Cabinet Industry)
CT Edge Band is a growing supplier of edge banding and decorative materials with local warehouse inventory in Chicago. We support cabinet shops, furniture manufacturers, distributors, and woodworking businesses across North America.
As we continue expanding our U.S. operations, we are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven sales representative to help develop our local customer network and grow long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new B2B customers in cabinet, furniture, woodworking, and building materials industries
- Maintain relationships with distributors, cabinet shops, and manufacturers
- Visit customers locally and follow up on projects
- Promote local warehouse inventory and fast delivery advantages
- Coordinate with warehouse and overseas production teams
- Support regional market expansion and dealer development
Requirements:
- Sales experience in building materials, woodworking, cabinet, laminate, or related industries preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willing to travel locally for customer visits
- Bilingual is a plus
