Server
Mordecai is currently hiring servers. Prospective candidates need a strong focus on food and beverage knowledge, hospitality, teamwork, and to be able to perform well in high-volume settings. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and climb stairs. Proficiency in English is required. Must have exceptional communication skills and be able to decipher a wine list and explain ingredients to guests. Must have daytime and nighttime availability. Must have availability over holidays and Cubs home stands. This is a seasonal position with the potential for growth. Must be 21+ and possess a Food Handler's Certificate as well as a BASSET.
Mordecai is a restaurant located across the street from Wrigley Field. Our service style is warm, approachable, and refined. We are looking for professional and detail-oriented individuals with a strong service standard background and ability to work in a high-volume environment. Team-focused personalities coupled with humility and a desire to learn are valued.
