FLSA Status: Salaried Non-Exempt

The JBS Pork team is seeking a 3rd Shift Accounting Billing Clerk.

HOURS:

12am-8am/ Monday to Friday. Needs to be flexible for weekend work when needed.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Take care of billing for Loading Dock, including verifying orders and filing invoices.
• Answer phones as needed.
• Complete export documentation for export orders during the shift
• Cross train on loading dock computer operator job
• Various duties to be completed as needed within loading dock billing office.
• Perform various other accounting duties as needed to ensure efficiency in the Accounting Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous accounting and office experience preferred
• 10-key and computer skills required
• Communication skills - written and verbal including phone etiquette
• Good work history including attendance (Less than 3 points)
• Team player among all shifts

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office software (word, PowerPoint, excel) skills.
• Internal applicants must have less than 3 attendance points and no written warnings or suspensions in the last calendar year.
• Good people skills
• Self-motivated and work well without direct supervision
• Organized
• Ability to follow instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Climbing stairs
• Frequent visits to production areas, environment consists of: Hot, Cold, Smells, PPE Required.
• Slippery floors, extreme temperature and loud noises.
