How you'll make an impact

We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for our Gallagher Bassett Financial Planning & Analysis Team! This individual will take ownership of reporting and operations for claim volume, revenue, headcount and associated expenses. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), including expertise in detailed analyses, financial modeling, and process improvements. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, making a significant impact through strategic insights and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization.
  • Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
  • Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
  • Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Leads and directs the work of others and m ay manage/coordinate the work of more junior staff.
About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience required.
  • Strong excel and financial management software skills are essential.

Preferred:

  • CMA or CFA preferred.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in FP&A preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Demonstrated expertise in Excel, including experience with financial modeling and complex data analysis.
  • Experience with Data Visualization Tools: Proficiency with Tableau and/or Power BI for creating insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Process Improvement Experience: Proven track record in identifying and implementing process improvements and automating workflows.
  • Detailed Analytical Experience: Strong background in performing detailed financial analyses to support decision-making.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Experience: Relevant experience in FP&A roles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
