What You’ll Do:

• Manage customer accounts to ensure timely invoice payments
• Conduct collection calls and follow up on outstanding balances
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Process and apply customer payments accurately
• Investigate and resolve customer returns, pricing discrepancies, and short payments
• Process credits, price adjustments, and reconcile deductions
• Generate and distribute invoices with precision and timeliness
• Maintain accurate customer records and perform high-volume data entry
• Support administrative tasks, including reporting, reconciliation, and file organization

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience (food manufacturing/distribution experience a plus)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and basic formulas preferred)
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers regarding payment issues
• Self-motivated with strong follow-through and accountability
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Customer-service mindset and team-oriented approach

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in food manufacturing or distribution sectors
• Spanish language skills are a strong plus but not required

Educational & Experience Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Over two years of relevant work experience

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to handle high-volume data entry with accuracy
• Flexibility to support team needs and adapt to changing priorities
