Schedule for the Orthodontic Assistant:

• Monday: Administrative Day

• Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Thursday: 7:00 PM - 4:00 PM

• Fridays - Sunday: OFF

Responsibilities and Requirements of the Orthodontic Assistant:

• Minimum of 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience preferred.

• Assist the orthodontist chairside during all procedures, including bonding, debonding, wire changes, and adjustments.

• Remove and replace archwires, place and remove orthodontic appliances, and prepare patients for bonding appointments.

• Take orthodontic records, including CBCT imaging, 3-D intraoral scan and photos.

• Chart detailed and accurate clinical notes for each appointment.

• Educate patients and parents on appliance care, oral hygiene, and post-appointment instructions.

• Perform sterilization and infection control procedures to maintain a safe and organized clinical environment.

• Monitor and restock supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Provide excellent customer service and help create a warm, welcoming, and positive experience for every patient.

• Assist with retainer checks and other follow-up appointments to support long-term patient care.
