We currently have an opportunity for an Maintenance NTL 2 located at our highly automated East Plant in Jacksonville, IL.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
As a Maintenance NTL, you will be repsonsible for the following.
You will have the opportunity to...
- Coordinating shift maintenance activities to ensure proper work prioritization, efficiency, and quality
- Attending daily Tier II reviews to insure alignment with manufacturing
- Effectively communicating with Shift Supervisor and other maintenance associates to insure team success
- Providing coaching and on-the-job training to improve individual and team skills of other maintenance associates, Manufacturing Natural Team Leaders, and Operators
- Audit maintenance lean behaviors to include standard work compliance in order to drive to root cause solutions vs. temporary fixes
- Providing feedback on underperforming maintenance associates and team training needs
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and achievement of safety goals
- Coordinating shift vacation and holiday start-up coverage

Requirements
We need you to have:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Mechanic or Electrician.
- One or more years of plant maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated high level of equipment/process expertise.
- Have demonstrated technical aptitude, the motivation and ability to gain additional knowledge, and the capability to use that technical knowledge to improve processes and develop associates' skills.
- Be organized and adapt to change in order to efficiently manage their time and the team's priorities.
- Have the ability to work independently, patiently directing the work team to maximize equipment uptime and minimize reclaim.
- Have a good understanding of the capabilities of their team and equipment, and must also build a solid level of trust within their team.
- Understand the need to effectively communicate and delegate as well as professionally manage conflict and confrontation.
- Maintain customer focus and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as they steadily drive for bottom line results.
Current Employee Requirements:
*Any current MNTL wishing to transfer will be addressed first. The most qualified applicant will then be offered the current opening. Anyone interested in a MNTL position is encouraged to apply.
*Associates who wish to apply must not have a current (less than one year old) Step 2 corrective action in their file, must have less than 4.5 attendance incidents at the time of the posting, and must be in their current role (LTO, Operator, R2, etc.) for greater than 6-months.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand and walk The job frequently requires the employee to push and pull up to 40 pounds of force; reach forward and above the shoulders; bend and twist, climb stairs, frequently turn wrists, and grip/grasp an object, type on a keyboard, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally carry/move up to 42 pounds. The employee will also occasionally be required to lift objects up to 42 pounds. Occasionally the employee will be asked to stoop/squat, kneel/crawl, climb scaffolding, and sit. The ability to have controlled use of both hands and both feet and have balance/coordination intact is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, mid-range, and distance vision including color, depth, and fields. Physical demands may also include ability to withstand extreme heat and moderate cold temperatures.
