Groundskeeper and Ranch Operations Assistant position available on a 1,235 acre ranch in northwest Illinois, along the Mississippi River. MUST communicate effectively in English, have valid driver's license, and work with minimal supervision. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. In addition, there may be a part-time housekeeping job available during the summer for a second person.
- Daily chores (caring for animals, tending to gardens, cleaning swimming pool, etc.)- General farm work (fencing, pasture maintenance, clearing brush)
- Lawn care and landscaping (mowing, trimming, seeding, watering, planting)
- Maintenance/repair work on buildings and machines
- Occasional help with the ranch's 15 horses and 150 beef cows Training available for the right person. Competitive wage, on-site family housing, paid vacation. Excellent school system. This is a perfect job for someone who loves to be surrounded by nature, animals and fresh air.
