Partnership Marketing Manager
LaSalle Network has partnered with a digital marketing agency in downtown Chicago in hiring a Partnership Marketing Manager! This Partnership Marketing Manager will lead and expand their affiliate and direct publisher partnership programs. This Partnership Marketing Manager will oversee a large network of affiliate partners, ensuring visibility, accountability, and performance across the channel. The ideal candidate has a paid media mindset, is highly analytical, and is comfortable managing program logistics, negotiating partner relationships, and scaling performance across multiple clients.
This Partnership Marketing Manager will support an additional client in the education space, overseeing direct publisher partnerships and negotiated media buys. The Partnership Marketing Manager requires strategic planning, performance analysis, contract and payment management, and hands-on relationship development.
Partnership Marketing Manager Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day management of affiliate programs across multiple clients, including partner relationships, performance tracking, forecasting, and optimization.
Monitor and report on lead volume, conversion metrics, ROI, and month-over-month performance trends.
Manage the operational infrastructure supporting the affiliate channel, including landing pages, website coordination, tracking codes, attribution rules, and reporting tools.
Identify, vet, and onboard new affiliate and strategic publisher partners to support program expansion and future quarterly tests.
Negotiate and manage direct publisher deals, including rates, contract terms, placements, and performance guarantees.
Reconcile partner invoices, validate results against reporting, and ensure accurate payments.
Collaborate with internal paid media, analytics, and creative teams to align campaign messaging, tracking, and performance expectations.
Support testing frameworks and provide clear performance rationale for scaling or pausing partnerships.
Present performance updates and recommendations to client stakeholders.
Partnership Marketing Manager Qualifications
4+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership marketing, digital media planning, or related performance-driven marketing role.
Demonstrated experience managing affiliate networks, publisher relationships, or negotiated partner buys.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience working with performance data, reporting dashboards, and attribution setups.
Technical comfort with tracking systems, pixels, UTMs, partner platforms, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
Experience forecasting performance and building business cases for expansion.
Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to manage partner relationships and advocate for performance outcomes.
Agency experience preferred; familiarity with education, consumer services, or publisher marketplaces is a plus.
