Job Title: Legal Operations & Risk Management Specialist Location (city, state): Hoffman Estates, IL Industry: Environmental Services Pay: $75,000–$85,000/year + 3–5% annual discretionary bonus (prorated based on start date) About Our Client: Addison Group is working with a growing company in the environmental services industry that is expanding its legal team. Job Description: This role supports both legal operations and enterprise risk management. The individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, the legal team, and executive leadership to enhance legal processes and build out risk management strategies. This is a visible role with strong potential for growth and leadership development. Key Responsibilities: Support legal operations including contract management, legal systems, and document organization Assist with M&A processes and integration of legal operations Coordinate with internal departments on legal and risk compliance Develop and maintain department-wide risk matrices Evaluate and manage insurance policies and vendor relationships Collaborate with department leaders to assess and minimize risk Present risk findings and recommendations to executive leadership Track legal spend and manage outside counsel relationships Qualifications: ~3–5+ years of legal operations or risk-related experience ~ Bachelor’s degree preferred ~ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (pivot tables, data manipulation) ~ Experience managing insurance vendor relationships ~ Prior experience with enterprise risk management or risk assessments strongly preferred ~ Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills ~ Proactive, high-energy personality with a solutions-focused mindset Perks: ~ Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance ~401(k) with company match ~ Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays ~ Tuition reimbursement program ~ Employee stock option plan ~ Company in active growth mode with career pathing opportunities
