Warehouse Assistant/Parts Runner

Duane Blanton Plumbing, Sewer, Heating & Cooling is seeking a dedicated individual to join our warehouse team. We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to fill our Monday through Friday 7am-330pm shift.

Position Overview:

As a Warehouse Assistant you play a vital role in supporting the operational needs of the business, ensuring that technicians have access to the equipment and materials they need to deliver high-quality services to customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Order Fulfillment: Fulfill orders and prepare equipment for technicians to ensure they have everything needed for each job.
• Equipment Staging: Stage necessary equipment, tools, and materials for technicians before they head out to job sites.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse for efficient operations.
• Supply House Runs and Job Site Transport: Occasionally make supply house runs to vendors and transport materials to job sites using company vehicles, typically transit vehicles.
• Light Cleaning Duties: Perform light cleaning duties for the warehouse and company vehicles to maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with technicians and other team members to meet the needs of the business and our customers.

What Does It Take?

• Valid Drivers License
• Close attention to detail is a must.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Must pass a clear background check, clean drug screen, and have a safe driving history.
• Eagerness to grow and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and lift loads up to 80 pounds.
• Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks safely.
• Prior experience working in a warehouse is preferred.
• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
