Overview:

The Transportation Department Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of transportation operations within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

1. Supervise and lead a team of transportation staff, including drivers, dispatchers, and administrative personnel.
2. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure staff members perform their duties effectively.
3. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Operations Management:

1. Develop and implement transportation policies, procedures, and standards to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

3. Monitor transportation activities, track performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

Fleet Management:

1. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of transportation vehicles and equipment.
2. Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and servicing to maintain fleet reliability and safety.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

1. Develop and manage the transportation department budget, including forecasting expenses and allocating resources effectively.

Customer Service:

Qualifications:
