Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a positive impact in elementary education by providing essential psychological services to young learners in a supportive school setting near Bolingbrook, IL. Enjoy a part-time contract position, working 3-4 days per week with grade 1-5 students. You’ll serve a student body of approximately 450, focusing on re-evaluations and initial evaluations to help ensure every student’s needs are understood and met.

As the primary psychologist, you will conduct assessments, draft comprehensive reports, and take the lead in meetings related to evaluations. Your professional insight will be key in shaping educational plans and supporting students’ academic and emotional development.

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in an elementary school setting preferred
• Strong skills in administering and interpreting psychoeducational testing
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, actionable evaluation reports
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Genuine interest in supporting student success across diverse backgrounds

Key responsibilities:

• Complete re-evaluations and initial evaluations for students in grades 1-5
• Administer standardized assessments and gather relevant data to inform decisions
• Prepare detailed, student-centered reports highlighting findings and recommendations
• Lead evaluation and eligibility meetings, collaborating with educational teams and families
• Support the school’s mission to foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
