Through our books and journals, we seek not only to advance scholarly conversation within and across traditional disciplines but, in keeping with the University of Chicago's experimental tradition, to help define new areas of knowledge and intellectual endeavor.**Job Summary**The Senior Financial Analyst helps senior management monitor the operating budget, revenue, and expenses. The Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to the development of long and short-term financial goals, business strategies and plans, and financial forecasts/models for CDC services. The Senior Financial Analyst helps improve processes and operational efficiency related to financial management and helps with business development as needed. This includes developing and maintaining existing systems, procedures, and policies and implementing new ones to ensure CDC and University requirements are met. This position will report to the Director of Client Services and Business Operations.**Responsibilities*** Prepares and analyzes budgets and variance reports. Works with the financial accounting system to allocate, authorize, monitor, and control expenses. Serves as primary conduit to other University financial teams.* Provides pricing and profitability analysis to CDC management for RFPs, client, vendor, and service provider agreements.
