Locum CRNA – Orthopedic & Spine Anesthesia Specialist (No Call, Weekdays Only) – Northern Chicago

• Duration : 3 or 6 Months Ongoing starting October 1st
• Shifts : 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, some days may start earlier. No weekends.
• Case Types : General orthopedics, joint replacements and spine procedures (3,700 cases annually)
• Special Requirements : Proficiency in brachial plexus, truncal and lower extremity blocks required. Techniques include spinal, interscalene, adductor and popliteal blocks.
• Supervision Model : Medical Supervision

Job Summary

A well-established facility in Northern Chicago is seeking a Locum CRNA to join their team starting October 1st on a 1099 contract basis . The assignment is available for a 3 or 6-month duration and offers a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with no call or weekend responsibilities . Proficiency in brachial plexus, truncal & lower extremity blocks (interscalene, adductor, and popliteal techniques) required for this position.

Requirements

• Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Minimum one year of experience as a CRNA, with proficiency in regional blocks.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Proficiency in brachial plexus, truncal and lower extremity blocks required. Techniques include spinal, interscalene, adductor and popliteal.
• Flexible schedule with locum contract options.
• Travel Expenses Paid (Flights & Vehicle Rental).
