Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for the uping school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Elgin, IL. This contract role spans from August 11, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with orientation sessions scheduled on August 4th and 5th. The position requires 37.5 hours per week focused on supporting students developmental and functional needs to promote successful classroom participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate student participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities
• Modify tasks or environments to acmodate individual student needs effectively
• Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments as appropriate
• Prepare clear and insightful reports based on observations and testing results
• Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and acmodations
• Collaborate and municate with parents, teachers, and team members to provide prehensive developmental support

Qualifications:

• Illinois state license for Occupational Therapy or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong munication skills coupled with the ability to function collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexibility and excellent problem-solving abilities to meet diverse student needs
