TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Harvey, Illinois, 60426!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must have a valid state RN license Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: Experience with patient ratios of 1:6, tracheostomy care and management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. The role may involve floating to other units as needed. The nurse will be responsible for all aspects of tracheostomy care and management. Respiratory therapy support will be available if needed. Strong skills in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias are essential. The candidate should be proficient in administering oxygen and peripheral line care. We are open to accommodating scheduling requests but they must be discussed during the interview. This position requires adherence to compliance standards regarding time off requests.
