Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Night Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction to students during evening classes, covering essential cosmetology techniques. Your expertise will be vital in shaping and guiding the future of our students in their cosmetology careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a variety of cosmetology disciplines including hair styling, skincare, and makeup application in an engaging manner.
• Facilitate hands-on learning experiences and practical demonstrations to enhance student skills.
• Assess student performance, delivering constructive feedback and individualized support.
• Create a positive, motivating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
• Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve educational standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all instructional settings.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Illinois Cosmetology Instructor License.
• Demonstrated experience in the cosmetology field is required.
• Teaching or instructional experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and dedication to student development.
• Availability to teach evening classes from Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM CST.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility
