Machine Operator
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Edwardsville, IL, 62025. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our machinery operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in training new operators as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
