What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity hazards and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity to help support authorized entry visitor processing and adherence to location rules and posted requirements.
• Prepare routine reports and maintain accurate activity logs regarding patrols incidents maintenance concerns and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
