Job Details

As an Electrical BIM/CAD Detailer, you will play an essential role in translating electrical designs into detailed 3D BIM models and 2D CAD drawings that guide project execution. This position involves close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and field teams to create highly accurate and coordinated models for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has experience with electrical systems, strong technical drafting skills, and proficiency in industry-standard software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and detailed 3D BIM models and 2D CAD drawings for commercial electrical systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
• Update models and drawings as project designs evolve and provide timely revisions.
• Support clash detection and resolution activities to avoid field conflicts.
• Maintain organized documentation and filing for all electrical drawings and models.
• Implement company standards and industry best practices for BIM and CAD work.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and material coordination as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in electrical BIM modeling and CAD detailing, preferably in commercial construction.
• Proficiency with BIM software (Revit preferred) and CAD platforms such as AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction documentation.
• Detail-oriented with excellent spatial visualization and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
