THE ROLE
Park Hyatt Chicago is seeking an experienced and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our esteemed team. In this leadership role, you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout our guest rooms and public spaces-reflecting the elegance and sophistication synonymous with our brand.

You will lead and inspire the housekeeping team, oversee daily operations, and conduct detailed inspections to maintain Forbes-rated service standards. Collaborating closely with departments such as Front Office and Engineering, you will help deliver a seamless and elevated guest experience. Your commitment to excellence, efficiency, and discretion will be key in upholding Park Hyatt 's legacy of luxury hospitality.

WAGE INFORMATION:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $27.75 . This reflects the competitive compensation expected at Park Hyatt Chicago . Actual pay will be commensurate with experience. This position is also eligible to earn overtime and premium pay under certain circumstances.

Qualifications

  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within a luxury housekeeping environment.
  • Labor Environment: Proven ability to work effectively in both unionized and non-union settings.
  • Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
  • Guest Relations: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on delivering outstanding guest service.
  • Operational Excellence: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in the use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and best practices specific to luxury hospitality standards.
  • Quality Standards: Consistent commitment to maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness, presentation, and overall room readiness.
  • Physical Capability: Able to regularly lift, push, and pull moderate weights as part of daily operations.
  • Shift Stamina: Ability to stand and remain physically active throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
