Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures to treat cardiovascular conditions.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and angiograms.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care to patients.
- Use percutaneous surgical methods to guide medical instruments to the heart.
- Treat myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, valve disease, peripheral vascular disease, and carotid artery disease.
Requirements :
- MD, Board Certification in Cardiology & Interventional Cardiology.
- Medical license to practice in Illinois
- 2 years post Fellowship experience.
- STEMI & General on-call required.
