Migration Data Lead

Join our dynamic team as a Migration Data Lead , ensuring migration data is timely, accurate, and well-controlled to enable successful migrations. You’ll shape strategy for data sourcing and transformation, partner with teams to build case-tracking workflows, and deliver visualizations and ad hoc reporting while driving efficiencies across the analytics model. As a Migration Data Lead within the Client Onboarding and Service Migration team, you will be a key driver in transforming our migration data strategy for specific migrations and across the portfolio to deliver tangible improvements that improve accuracy, speed, and data delivery. You will leverage your deep knowledge and expertise to gather accurate and clear migration data requirements, document data flow, design input pages and visualizations, gain approvals, and impalement according to specifications keeping end users updated at every step. Based on your experience, there may be opportunity to manage analysts to navigate complex data structures, learn new technologies, and remove roadblocks. You will have the opportunity improve portfolio reporting which will require establishing a new data warehouse, automation, and AI to develop insights based on cross migration data, resource utilization, project attributes, and case volumes. You will develop effective presentations to support leadership understanding of client impact and risk across the projects and clients. Your role will involve significant cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and conflict management to align initiatives with business and technology strategy. Your ability to think strategically, adapt to change, and deliver excellent customer service will be crucial in this role.
Job responsibilities
- Participate in the strategic development of migration portfolio reporting foundation, manage data requirements, establish data model and automation.
- Utilize your expertise in data management and strategic thinking to deliver information needed to drive accurate migration execution.
- Support the data extraction, analysis, and delivery of information for multiple migration projects. Establish clear expectations with data consumers in terms of requirements, scope, effort, and timeline. Identify and raise risks and anomalies uncovered in data sets. effective risk mitigation, and timely delivery of commitments.
- Utilize data analytics to uncover clients being impacted by multiple migrations, bring collective owners together to minimize parallel impact and outreach to clients, and direct necessary adjustments to ensure the successful delivery of program commitments.
- Engage with senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress of strategic initiatives and stories that develop from data.
- Collaborate with team members and organize meetings to collect, manage, and triage client migration data collection and sharing. Ensure minutes and actions are accurately reflected and addressed.
- Ensure requirements documentation, migration trackers (SharePoint), data storage, access, and client list approvals follow established regulatory and risks guidelines for data protection and sharing.
- Provides insights and subject matter expertise to support portfolio level data model and reporting. Support tool selection and requirements gathering.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex data-related programs or projects, typically demonstrated through 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to interpret models, make inferences from data, and provide continuous insight for accurate migration project execution.
- Advanced technical literacy, with the ability to effectively use data technology to obtain and manipulate data to complete tasks, solve problems, drive analytics, and deliver accurate usable artifacts such as SharePoint custom case trackers, visualization and automation.
- Strategic thinker, with proficiency in using data to understand issues and opportunities, evaluate potential scenarios, and collaborate on strategy development.
- Strong time management skills, efficient at multi-tasking, and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on time, to a high-level standard.
- Expert in three or more of the following technologies: SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Snowflake, Alteryx, Python, Advanced Excel, SaS, Tableau, SQL.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experienced with enterprise reference data hubs (EDH), as well as MySQL, Snowflake).
- Innovative in integrating artificial intelligence solutions to enhance project outcomes and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience or degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Machine Learning.
- Proactive in implementing automation to streamline project workflows and increase operational efficiency.
- Supportive in fostering a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and the adoption of new technologies.
- Dedicated to mentoring team members to support their professional growth, develop organization skills, and enhance data management capabilities.
