Position Summary

The Crisis Co Responder Team is recovery and resiliency oriented, intensive, community based rehabilitation and outreach. It is team based and consists of mental health rehabilitation interventions and supports necessary to assist the recipient in achieving and maintaining rehabilitative, resiliency and recovery goals. Interventions are provided in natural settings, and are delivered face to face, by telephone, or by video conference with individual recipients and their family/significant others to the primary well- being and benefit of the recipient. This is an excellent position for social service driven applicants seeking to work with area police agencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field, or equivalent experience and training
• Must qualify as a MHP or QMHP per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills,
• Computer proficiency required,
• Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record,
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the prescribed time frames
• Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling,
• Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources,
• Self-starter with ability to work independently,
• Ability to work within a team,
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements
• Must have own transportation
• Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance

Responsibilities

• Conduct Mental and Risk Assessments on crisis clients both in the community and at the location.
• Ability to motivate and problem solve with staff regarding effective clinical practices
• Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients
• Conduct individual, and/or family counselling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members
• Ensure that client services records are maintained consistent with standards, rules and regulations.
• Maintain communications with all staff (e.g. admissions, process, and discharge plans)
• Ability to coordinate services from a variety of community resources and Rosecrance services
• Ability to engage with law enforcement in a multitude of settings for daily staffing and follow up calls

Schedule

• Day shift, 9:30am-6pm
• Monday-Friday

Work Location Rosecrance Walnut– Champaign, IL

Work Mode : Onsite

Compensation & Rewards (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)

Base Pay: Bachelor's $50,835.20 a year, Master's (Qualified Mental Health Professional) $57,761.60 year

Additional Pay Enhancements in addition to Base Salary :

Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, or CPS): +$0.72/hour (equivalent of +$1,500 annualized)

1st Level Clinical Licensure (e.g., LPC/LSW/LMSW): +$0.87/hour (equivalent of +$1,800 annualized)

2nd Level Clinical Licensure (e.g., LCPC/LCSW/LMHC): starting at +$2.16/hour (equivalent of +$4,500 annualized)
