Compass Funding Solutions LLC is seeking a highly motivated industry professional to manage and grow our factoring portfolio. The Account Executive professional is to help accelerate growth within our financing network of fleet owners across the United States.

You will build key customer relationships, manage an assigned portfolio of clients and its performance, intake and maintain business deals while acquiring an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Job Summary:
The Asset Based Lending Administrative Specialist (“AE”) role involves building and maintaining client relationships, managing accounts, and assessing risk on freight bills. AE's are responsible for making quick business decisions that have an immediate impact on Compass Funding Solution LLC (“CFS”) and their clients.
Account Executives may be the first point of contact for Compass' clients or act as back-up for the SAEs (Senior Account Executives): AE's ensure that the CFS process fits the clients' needs, which sometimes means educating clients on other services that Compass provides. Also, this position supports and/or manages client relationships, including collateral verification and risk management at service levels consistent with the business objectives of Compass.
The AE may manage a portfolio of client relationships averaging a total of $10M to $20M in monthly sales volume and is responsible for customer satisfaction and prevent exposure to portfolio loss. The AE will have the ability to approve capital loan requests of up to $2.5k or 5% of aggregate invoices (whichever is lesser), with the countersignature of the Operations Manager. All loan approvals to be submitted to the Credit Committee for notification purposes.
Job Responsibilities:
· Understand Invoice Verification Methods with direct experience performing Verification.
· Identify the Collateral Paper Trail.
· Analyze Collateral.
· Analyze Account Debtor Risk.
· Perform limited Financial Statement Analysis (Account Debtor and Client).
· Manage client reserves.
· Have direct experience with performing or managing the collection process.
· Manage the Account Receivable Aging (Turns, Trends, and Concentrations).
· Perform Eligibility Calculations (knowledge of ineligible categories, aka “no-buy”).
· Understand collateral threats and how to manage through them.
· Identify different Factoring Products and how to manage each.
· Perform Client servicing techniques/problem solving.
· Recognize Red Flags/Early Warning Signs of distress in the Client Relationship.
· Know proper Notice of Assignment.
· Focus on maintaining assigned customers' accounts receivable portfolios.
· Provide exceptional customer service for financial clients.
· Provide Client training on the Web Portal.
· Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
· Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
· Provide daily funding and handle collections for assigned customers.
· Perform risk assessments and ensure that procedures are in place and followed to minimize risk.
· Manage product or service issues, including clarifying the issue, determining the cause, creating a solution, expediting the correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
· Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
· Answer product and service questions; suggest information about other products and services.
· Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in finance
· Asset Based Lending (ABL) experience.
· Banking relationship management experience.
· Accounts Receivable finance experience (preferred, not a must)
· Trucking/trucking logistics experience (preferred, not a must)
· Professional customer service and Microsoft Office skills to effectively process client and collateral requests related to servicing a growing invoice portfolio.
· Excellent customer service while meeting funding deadlines.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Operations Manager
Governance:
· Quarterly reporting to the SAE regarding portfolio performance, compliance issues, customer reviews.
· Annual review by Operations Manager, SAE, and Sales Manager to determine proficiency, future position.
