Maintenance Technician

We are working with an established Industrial Manufacturing company based in **Rochelle, Illinois. **They are recruiting for a **Maintenance Mechanic **to join their team **on the 2nd shift **in return for a salary in the region of between **$30-$34/hour **along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Insurance.

Duties and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Mechanic include:

• Performs Preventative Maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair the equipment
• Must be able to build gearboxes
• Maintain knowledge of each part to be able to communicate with the supplier
• Responsible for keeping the down time for each machine to a minimal and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and tools
• May be responsible for ordering the parts that are necessary for each machine to operate if a purchase is necessary
• Operate Lathe machine, End Mill Machine, Drill Press, Surface Grinders, Grinders, Sanders, Hand Tools, CNC Machines, etc.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and written information and able to write clearly and informatively

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting
• Must have knowledge in electrical install, troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Must have their own tools
