Location: Deerfield, IL or Bellevue, WA – Remote during contract; onsite 4 days per week required upon conversion to FTE

What You’ll Be Accountable For:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and platform solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
• Leverage Terraform/OpenTofu to define and manage infrastructure as code.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) to streamline delivery and deployment.
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
• Use Ansible and automation frameworks to manage configuration and deployments.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to align platform capabilities with business requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring system resilience and uptime.
• Document cloud architectures, processes, and platform designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

What Qualifications You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience as a Platform, Cloud, or DevOps Engineer.
• Proven expertise in:
• Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure as code.
• Azure Cloud architecture, deployment, and operations.
• Azure DevOps (ADO) or other CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Kubernetes administration and optimization.
• Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working across diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

• Experience with Harness or Internal Developer Platforms.
• Familiarity with modern cloud-native architectures and container security.
• Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
