Job Description

Join our team as a Production Worker where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our uniform products. You will be responsible for sealing logos and emblems onto uniforms, inspecting garments, and preparing items for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Seal logos, emblems, and tags onto uniforms.
• Inspect and modify garments according to work orders.
• Ensure trim items are accurate in color, scripting, size, and quantity.
• Apply emblems, ID tapes, bar codes, and trim.
• Cut, surge, and hem garments.
• Consolidate and pack orders for accurate shipping and invoicing.
• Operate a heat press machine to apply iron-ons.
• Load machines and fold garments.
• Place garments onto press and perform repetitive folding and loading tasks.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or retail.
• Proficiency with RF scanners.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with picking and order building.
• Comfortable with lifting and material handling.
• Familiarity with pallet jacks and forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to be on your feet all day and stay active.
• Must wear slip-resistant shoes and adhere to dress code.

Work Environment

You will be working in a large, climate-controlled warehouse. The role involves picking orders, stocking, and performing putaways into inventory bays. You'll work with RF scanners alongside a team, requiring strong teamwork and communication skills. Adherence to a specific dress code, including slip-resistant shoes and appropriate attire, is mandatory to maintain a safe and professional environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Bedford Park, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.60 - $17.60/hr.
