An international equipment manufacturer of conventional web and sheetfed printing presses is looking for a Field Service Engineer to focus on the mechanical side of repair and maintenance of their printing press lines. This Press Mechanic will travel to commercial printing plants anywhere in the US to do preventative maintenance, repairs and installations. Expect national travel to be over 50% with limited overnights and weekend work. Ideal candidate will have at least 5 or more years in a field service or maintenance of conventional printing machinery. A mechanical degree is desired, not required. Good computer, mechanical, communication and written skills are a must. The ability to work independently and within groups are keys for success. Starting salary ranges from $70k to $80k pending on experience and they do offer full benefits a ton of a ton of overtime. Expect total income to be $100+.
