Loan Origination Associate II
Make an impact by helping deliver a seamless equipment finance onboarding experience for our customers. You will partner across teams to remove friction, strengthen quality, and drive improvements that help the business move faster with strong controls and accuracy, guiding according to policies and procedures.
Job summary
As an Equipment Finance Loan Origination Associate II in Equipment Finance Onboarding , you guide and support a production team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You partner with leadership to implement transformation initiatives, serve as an escalation point, and reinforce priorities that support the equipment finance strategic plan as responsibilities evolve with business needs.
Job responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for the segments and roles supported, managing pipeline priorities
- Address transaction processing escalations and participate in deal team meetings
- Resolve quality control escalations and partner with the quality control team to recalibrate onboarding processes
- Foster partnerships across onboarding sites, operations, sales, bankers, legal, asset teams, structuring, and underwriting to manage workflow and service levels
- Monitor workflow and support adherence to service level expectations to deliver a consistent customer experience
- Develop, draft, and maintain job aids to support onboarding transformation
- Identify and implement training opportunities based on data quality and accuracy, guiding the team according to policies and procedures
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging new ideas and empowering the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in equipment finance, loan origination, or related operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead and guide teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and partnership skills across multiple business functions
- Experience resolving escalations and managing priorities
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and transformation initiatives
- Proficiency in workflow management and adherence to service level agreements
- Ability to develop training materials and job aides
- Attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Flexibility to adapt responsibilities as business needs change
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to become a subject matter expert in equipment finance products
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with syndicated and bilateral leases and loans
- Background in commercial or private banking operations
- Knowledge of asset types such as aircraft, marine, and rail
- Experience with global operations teams
- Familiarity with structuring and underwriting processes
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience implementing transformation initiatives in financial services
