We’re working with an established Manufacture based near to Bridgeview, IL .* They are recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join their team on Day Shift in return for an annual salary in the region of $30-$33/hour* along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Flexible Schedule, Flexible Spending Account, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Life Insurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot 120V and 480V AC electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain variable frequency drives (VFDs) and troubleshoot PLCs and control systems
• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and pneumatic systems (millwright work)
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, including LP, gas, and diesel-powered units
• Learn and support maintenance welding (carbon steel and stainless) and basic metal fabrication
• Operate and maintain equipment in a machine/fabrication shop (lathe, drill press, bandsaws, shears, ironworker)
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and at heights using aerial equipment
• Support HVAC systems

Qualifications & Experience required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ Years as an Industrial or Maintenance in Manufacturing Environment ‘
• Experience with PLC Troubleshooting, working with 240-480V systems
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
