Accounts Payable Coordinator

Chicago-based Golub & Company LLC and its affiliates are active internationally in real estate development, acquisitions, asset and property management, leasing and corporate real estate services. The Company has developed, owned or managed more than 50 million square feet of properties valued in excess of $10 billion.

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator at our headquarters in downtown Chicago to perform the following duties:

• Coordinates accounts payable processing for all Golub managed entities with both on-site management office staff and corporate accounting staff.
• Processes payables via applicable automated or manual process. Steps may include review of batch inputs, submitting to automated processor, printing checks, obtaining check signatures, assembly of batches for review and approval, and preparation for mailing of checks. Follows up with property personnel and automated processor if necessary to resolve issues and meet deadlines established by monthly accounting calendar.
• Maintains accounts payable and vendor files including general filing of check copies and supporting documents.
• Prepares and files IRS Forms (W-9, 1099).

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED plus one year experience in general accounting or bookkeeping; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Individual should be organized and self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, Skyline, Yardi and Great Plains accounting software preferred.

The compensation range for this position is an hourly rate between $26.44-27.23, plus a year-end discretionary bonus.
