Medical Director – Chicago Metropolitan Area

We are seeking a Medical Director / Managing Veterinarian that thrives in a fast paced environment and values client and patient service. This is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice in a village north of Chicago. In addition to wellness and preventive care, the beautiful city offers digital radiography (including dental), in-house labs, ultrasound, CBC, echocardiogram, SNAPshot DX Analyzer, VetStat Electrolyte and Blood Gas Analyzer, and more.

Lead a team that is dedicated to establishing a culture that celebrates all forms of diversity and works as an inclusive service provider in the community. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about surgery and has the basics covered. They are focused on providing excellent client communication and are committed to delivering the best possible care to animals of the community. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is excited about leading a team, driving the growth of the hospital, and furthering the practice’s commitment to clients and patients. The Medical Director will set and review SOPs, establish and drive the direction and medical quality of the practice, manage the doctor team, and support the management of the office staff.

Compensation/Benefits: Competitive base salary + production along with medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits, sign-on bonus, paid time off, 401(k) plan, CE allowance, license fees and dues, and more.
