This role is located at our beautiful headquarters located on River Drive in Moline, IL. This facility includes a comfortable office environment with an on-site gym facility.
Summary of Position:
Being a Loan Officer at IHMVCU, you will regularly connect with members via electronic communication channels including email, phone, chats and various opportunities queues. The Loan Officer will advise members on the best products and services to ensure overall financial health by analyzing their profile, interviewing and making educated recommendations. This position will complete the necessary documentation for consumer loans, new account and IRA/CD requests and collaborate with underwriters to proceed with approval processes. The Loan Officer will recognize opportunities and attract new business by profiling and effectively communicating while reviewing credit reports. Additional opportunities may include competitive payoffs and offering ancillary products to ensure our members are protected, while presenting beneficial options. The role has monthly sales goals that include loan production and add-on products to be met individually and departmentally. This role involves extensive interaction with members and team members handling inbound calls and online loan applications. Upholding our service standards is paramount-be eager to serve, professional, and provide compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures.
Experience Required:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Two or more years of proven successful experience in Financial Lending and/or call center with sales environment
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving performance targets.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to member service excellence.
