Kern Heating & Cooling in Beach Park, IL is hiring a full-time Outside Sales Rep (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm) to help homeowners choose the right home comfort solutions. No HVAC experience is required-just bring your 2+ years of outside/in-home sales experience and your drive to win!

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide customers with tailored solutions for HVAC and home comfort needs
• Consult with new and existing customers, offering custom system designs and our exclusive maintenance program
• Lead the sales process with confidence, clarity, and a customer-first approach
• Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure complete satisfaction
• Re-engage all open bids and leads to convert them into sales
• Overcome objections and highlight standout features, pricing, and financing options
• Prepare professional sales orders
• Build long-term relationships and deliver exceptional service
• Participate in trade shows, referral networks, and sales-driven events
• Work occasional evenings/weekends on an on-call rotation

YOU MIGHT BE A MATCH IF YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of Outside Sales Rep experience
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call hours
• Willingness to attend trade shows, events, referral groups, and more
