HVAC Service Technician

Position Overview:
As an HVAC Service Tech, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Maintaining and repairing HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
• Communicating with clients to explain system issues and repair solutions in a clear, professional manner.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Following safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in training as required.
• Servicing a variety of systems including ACs, Furnaces, Mini-splits, Boilers, etc.

What Does It Take?

• 3+ years experience in residential service
• Current driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Clear background check.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification
• Outgoing, professional, clean-cut, and drug-free.
• Quick, sound decision-making abilities.
• Highly motivated, flexible, with a great attitude towards life.
• Ability to demonstrate the proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.
• Must be able to work in small attics and tight spaces.
• Effective communication skills both individually and in a team environment.

Pay:

• $33-$42 per hour, depending on experience 
• Sign-On Bonus: Potentially - Up to $10,000.00 for candidates who currently hold a current NATE certification AND EPA Universal certification
