Job Description

As a Security Officer Protection Specialist in Chicago IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic fast-paced environment. You will conduct routine foot bike and driving patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by our agile reliable and innovative team culture you will support daily operations with professionalism integrity and a people-first approach.

Minimum Requirements:

• Physically able to walk run bike and/or hike 10 miles PER Day.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.

What Youll Do:

• Collaborate with supervisors to arrange field test schedules vehicles and logistics
• Meet and escort engineers or contractors to the designated test vehicle
• Safely transport engineers/contractors along predefined routes or to specific sites for testing purposes
• Monitor activities during field tests to maintain a secure environment
• Ensure all equipment including secure Pelican cases remains protected when engineers step out for breaks

Minimum Requirements:

• Physically able to walk run bike and/or hike 10 miles PER day.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
