Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Experience or training as a Surgical Technologist (Nursing – ORT skill set)
• Demonstrated knowledge of surgical patient care, sterile techniques, and instrumentation
• Ability to assist in preparation, transportation, and supervision of patients safely
• Calm and professional demeanor, especially during urgent or emergent situations
• Commitment to ongoing learning related to the operating room environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterility prior to procedures
• Perform scrub duties including handling instruments, assisting surgeons, and maintaining a sterile field
• Provide immediate support for both elective and emergency surgeries
• Assist with transporting and positioning patients for surgical procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in surgical patient care and participate in ongoing education
• Uphold safety protocols and support communication between surgical, nursing, and ancillary team members
