Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: Highland Park Area, ILDuration: August 18, 2025 June 5, 2026Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Onsite

This full-time Occupational Therapist position supports students in a K-12 school environment, providing specialized services to enhance their educational experience. The role involves direct intervention, consultation, and collaboration with educators and families to address students' developmental and functional needs. The position is a contract opportunity for the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents to integrate therapy objectives into daily school activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in pliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and IEP development to advocate for student needs
• Ensure all interventions support the educational curriculum and promote student independence

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant state credentials
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred
• Knowledge of K-12 curriculum and ability to adapt therapy techniques accordingly
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to utilize data for progress monitoring and reporting
