**Job Type:** Full-Time/Part-Time

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Food Prep to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work under the supervision of the head chef and will play a vital role in preparing, cooking, and presenting exceptional dishes that meet our high standards of quality and service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Food Preparation:**
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Prepare and chop vegetables, meats, and other ingredients as needed for daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in food prep areas.

- **Cooking and Presentation:**
- Cook menu items to order, ensuring proper timing and presentation.
- Monitor food quality while preparing and after cooking; make necessary adjustments to meet standards.
- Plate and garnish dishes according to restaurant guidelines.

- **Kitchen Maintenance:**
- Keep the workspace clean and organized, ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock and reporting shortages.

- **Collaboration and Communication:**
- Work alongside other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service during peak times.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and timing.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Food Prep, or similar role in a restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and cleanliness.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in a hot environment.
