Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in providing top-notch support to customers by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and managing accounts across multiple communication channels. This position involves order processing, account management, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure efficient and accurate service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person to provide assistance and resolve concerns.
Respond to inquiries quickly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Resolve complaints by gathering information, evaluating issues, and determining the best course of action.
Verify and update customer account information to maintain accuracy.
Process orders, quotes, applications, and other requests using Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, including detailed logs of interactions and resolutions.
Follow up on customer interactions to ensure satisfaction and closure.
Perform administrative tasks related to customer service.
Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance the customer experience.
Education & Experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 2 years in a customer service or support role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams); experience with Lotus Notes is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system preferred.
Strong understanding of customer service best practices and procedures.
